Rob Hartley, CEO of Little Green Apples Project, as part of his 10 million step quest, has decided to walk 50,000 steps in one day – approximately 25 miles to support Refuge Pregnancy Center. He will be walking 50,000 steps, stopping only long enough to talk to people along his way through areas of Coachella Valley. Mr. Hartley believes in the importance of Refuge Pregnancy Center’s Mission and feels that the teens, the babies, and the children who benefit from the Center are very worthy of financial support from the community. Refuge Pregnancy Center provides Parenting Education and a Mentoring Program. They offer education for all parenting stages, for Moms, Dads, Couples, and even Grandparents. Moms can earn "Baby Bucks" to shop in a boutique for basic baby needs: diapers, wipes, clothes, blankets and more. Refuge Pregnancy Center is a Primary Medical Clinic (PMC) that is licensed by the state of California.

Serving moms, dads, babies, unborn babies, and families in need in Indio. Some of their services include pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, mentoring, pre-natal classes, parent education, adoption and assistance referrals.
